Huy Giang Expands Factory Capacity to Meet Growing Global Demand

Cần Thơ, Vietnam — Huy Giang Company Limited has officially completed the second phase of its factory expansion in Cần Thơ, doubling monthly processing capacity to meet rapidly growing demand from export partners across Japan, South Korea, the European Union and the United States.

A facility built for growth

The expansion adds two new processing lines, a 4,000-ton cold storage block and a dedicated value-added workshop for glazed, marinated and ready-to-cook products. The upgraded facility now handles more than 12,000 tons of raw material per year while keeping the same strict hygiene zoning that has anchored our HACCP and BRC certifications.

Investing in people

More than 180 new jobs have been created across processing, quality control and logistics. Every new team member completes a four-week training program covering hygiene, food safety and traceability before stepping onto the line.

What it means for partners

Lead times for repeat orders drop by an average of 18%, and mixed-container loads can now be assembled in a single facility — pangasius, shrimp and value-added lines side by side. Season programs for 2025 are already open for booking, with early commitments receiving priority cold-storage allocation.
